Jack Oleson standing next to his restored Conestoga wagon on July 1, 2010 at Diamond Star Ranch, Eagle. He estimates it is an 1825 vintage. Oleson purchased the wagon from the Holland House in Golden, Colorado, in the 1960s. He took the wagon completely apart, replacing some rotted wood pieces. The new paint was matched to the original found on the undercarriage. A new canvas top was made to fit, completing the project in 2008.
