Alice "Widge" Ferguson is depicted holding a Widge's Ridge sign while standing behind her family's ski retreat at the Edelweiss in Vail. Widge's Ridge is located in Sun Down Bowl on Vail Mountain. Widge's Ridge was named for Widge Ferguson by Vail pioneer and first public relations director, Bob Parker. Ferguson became locally renowned for bringing snow to Vail when she came skiing.
