Pete Seibert Jr. described the aftermath of his father's (Pete Seibert Sr.) late 1950s trek up No Name Mountain with Earl Eaton. The duo looked at a large subalpine area apparently cleared by forest fires in the late 19th century. This area later became the Back Bowls of Vail Mountain. Seibert recalled a humorous interlude at Williams Cafe in Minturn that his father related to him.
