During his tenure, Vail town engineer, Greg Hall, and transportation consultant, Arnie Ullevig, proposed a creative solution to traffic backups at Vail's former four-way stop off I-70. LeVine discussed the controversy and resolution of Vail's initial roundabout. It has been described as the first modern roundabout in North America.
